Private Lessons

This course consists of 6 private lessons, each lasting approximately 1 hour. One of our skilled trainers will work with the dog and owner to develop a training plan that is tailored to the specific needs and personality of the dog. The lessons will cover a range of topics, including:

Introduction to Obedience Training: The trainer will share the foundations of balanced obedience training. We'll show you how positive reinforcement, reward-based training, and consistency can help you achieve your training goals.
Sit, Down, & Place:
The trainer will teach the dog these three essential obedience commands which help to establish positive behaviors.
Recall & Doorbell Etiquette:
Your dog will learn to be well-mannered around visitors, respect thresholds, and come on command. We will teach the difference between nuisance and purposeful barking.
Heel:
We will help you achieve safe and enjoyable walks with your dog by teaching the dog to walk on a loose leash without pulling or lunging.
Leave It:
Your dog will learn to drop objects on command and leave objects or food alone. This is crucial in preventing harmful and destructive behavior.
Distraction Training:
The trainer will introduce distractions throughout training, to ensure your dog will remain obedient even in challenging situations.

This course is intended to help you navigate the first 3-6 months with your new puppy. The course consists of 4 private lessons, each lasting approximately 1 hour. The lessons will cover a range of topics, including:

House Training:
House training is an essential priority for any new puppy owner. The trainers will guide you through crate training, establishing a regular feeding and potty schedule, and techniques to prevent accidents inside the house.
Socialization:
Socializing a puppy is crucial for their overall well-being and behavior. The trainers will introduce the puppy to various environments, people, and other animals in a controlled and positive manner. They will provide guidance on proper socialization techniques to help the puppy become confident and well-adjusted.
Bite Inhibition &Chew Training: Puppies have a natural tendency to bite and chew. Our trainers will teach you ways to discourage biting, promote gentle play, and redirect chewing towards appropriate toys and objects.
Basic Manners:
This course covers basic manners, such as not jumping on people, not begging for food, and not barking excessively. We will show you how to reinforce good manners and discourage unwanted behaviors.
Problem Solving:
Your trainer will help address specific challenges or behavioral concerns by providing practical solutions and techniques to overcome these challenges effectively.

comprehensive 3-week board and train program. Designed to provide the ultimate

Week 1: Building the Foundation
During the first week, your dog will become acquainted with our skilled trainers and the training environment. We'll assess your dog's behavior, socialize them with other dogs, and introduce fundamental commands like Sit, Stay, and Come. Through balanced training techniques, we lay the groundwork for successful obedience.

Week 2: Elevating Skills and Behavior
In the second week, your dog's training advances to a higher level. Advanced commands such as Leave It, Heel, and Place are taught, with a focus on maintaining obedience amidst distractions. We'll address problem behaviors and implement tailored strategies to modify them effectively, while continuously involving you in the process.

Week 3: Real-World Application and Graduation
As we approach the final week, your dog's training is put to the test in real-world scenarios. We guide your dog through parks, busy streets, and various public places, ensuring that their newfound skills are versatile and dependable. In the end, we celebrate your dog's achievements with a graduation ceremony, equipping you with the knowledge and tools to maintain their progress.

Beyond Training: Ongoing Support
Our commitment doesn't end with graduation. We provide post-training follow-up sessions to ensure a smooth transition back home. Our trainers remain accessible for consultations and advice whenever you need assistance in reinforcing and maintaining the learned behaviors.
